I had such an awesome Saturday off with the Hubbs and my father in law :) We started off at 7am garage sales. I was so excited, but thought i would only go to a few since I know it's not Joe's and pop's thing. But surprisingly. they were good and let me have my fun :)And it just so happened, Olomana had their community garage sale. So there was a map of over 20 different houses having sales. YAY!!!! So I did happen to get some awesome stuff. I got a brand new picture frame, a brand new roxy shoulder bag, some plastic bags for my store, and I also got free stationary. It was great, and what's better is, I only spent $7. What a deal :)
After the Olomana sales, we had breakfast at Times Coffee Shop in Kailua. Good food and it wasn't busy til we were leaving. Then we were energized for a few more sales. Then we were off to Target, Salt Lake. I <3 Target, fyi!!! I really can't wait for them to open in Kailua. At Target I got a jacket for my trip in October and a few household supplies. On our way home we went to Orange grove...mmm . So yummy.
After we got home, I started to clean the bathroom and I had to do some yard work. I promised some people star fruit from my tree. But I had to cut some of the over grown yard around my tree. What an ordeal. Thank goodness Pop was there to help me. Joe decided to relax and drink beer.lol. But he was able to help me pick some fruit, drop it off to my friend, and go to Safeway for Dinner.
Overall, I had a great day and I am so tired. Super exhausted and it is so hot!!! Joe also mentioned, he's goingt o start looking for certain thing at gsales. lol, yay, now I just hope I always get Sat. off. Cross my fingers :) till we meet again
